Who runs this site, and what happens with your data.
This page satisfies the obligations of the Spanish Ley 34/2002 (LSSI-CE) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, 2016/679). Plain language where I can, formal where the law requires it.

Dennis Elmersson is a co-founder of Upper Eight AB and the public face of the site. Engagements that arise from this site are normally contracted via Upper Eight AB.
2. Working with Dennis as autónomo
For some consulting work, Dennis Elmersson can also be engaged directly as a self-employed professional (autónomo) registered in Spain, instead of via Upper Eight AB. If you would prefer that arrangement, mention it in your first email and we will set it up. The autónomo’s tax data is provided privately on the resulting contract; this site is not, by itself, the autónomo’s commercial homepage.
3. Purpose of the site
elmersson.ai is the public-facing contact site of Upper Eight AB, presented through its co-founder Dennis Elmersson. It describes the services on offer, hosts a subpage for the Tertium Quid partnership programme, and provides contact details for direct enquiries. It is not a sales platform: no products are sold, no payments are processed, and no accounts are created on this domain.
4. Conditions of use
Browsing the site implies acceptance of this legal notice. The content is provided in good faith and updated when reasonable, but is offered without warranty of fitness for a particular purpose. Decisions taken on the basis of the content are the visitor’s own responsibility.
5. Intellectual property
The text, layout, code, and images on this site are the property of Upper Eight AB unless explicitly credited otherwise. Reproduction for commercial purposes requires written permission. Quoting with attribution is welcome.
6. Personal data
Controller. Upper Eight AB is the data controller for enquiries received through this site. If a working relationship is later contracted with Dennis Elmersson as autónomo, the autónomo becomes the controller of the client-record data from that point onward; this is set out in the contract.
What is processed. Only what you send: your name, email address, phone number (if you call or write to it), and the content of your message. No analytics, no cookies, no tracking pixels run on this site.
Why. To answer your enquiry. If a working relationship begins, the same data may be retained as part of normal client records.
Legal basis. Your consent, given by contacting us; and the legitimate interest of responding to enquiries you initiate (GDPR art. 6.1.a and 6.1.f).
Where it lives. Email is handled via Google Workspace (Google Ireland Ltd., a processor compliant with the EU Standard Contractual Clauses). Phone calls are handled on a Spanish mobile line.
How long. Until your enquiry is resolved, or for as long as a working relationship continues, plus the retention period required by Swedish or Spanish tax and commercial law (typically up to six or seven years, depending on which entity contracts the work).
Your rights. You can ask for access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection at any time, by writing to the controller at info@uppereight.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Swedish Data Protection Authority (IMY) or, if you are in Spain, with the AEPD.
7. Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no third-party tracking. The only third-party request is to Google Fonts for the typeface; that request does not set cookies and is governed by Google’s own terms.
8. Governing law and jurisdiction
Swedish law applies to Upper Eight AB as the provider of this site. Venue for any dispute is agreed in the relevant commercial contract. Where work is contracted with Dennis Elmersson as autónomo, the applicable law and venue for that engagement are agreed in that specific contract.
9. Changes
This notice may be updated when the underlying facts change or when the law requires it. The current version is the one in force.
